My daughter and I stayed in the Fraser Suites for ten nights in September 2008. We loved the location - close to shopping , trains and buses. We loved the fact that we could prepare our own meals right in the suite. (had a kitchen/fridge). We also enjoyed the free specialty coffee available opposite reception each morning!
BUT if you stay in this hotel make sure that your room does not face any street!! For three nights we suffered through vehicle noise and pub noise/revellers. The window did not keep any noise out. However, the staff was very accommodating when we told them of our issue and promptly moved us to the top floor and to a back facing room which was very quiet.
If you stay at this hotel, be sure and ask for a room on the top floor, and away from the street!! (we were facing a parking garage, and it was a perfect room).
Staff friendly, rooms kept clean, but a little dated. Good value for your money.
