A lovely warm welcome, spacious room with en-suite, spotlessly clean and great breakfast in conservatory room with views. Peaceful and quiet. Only stayed for one night on this occassion but we will be back and would highly recommend 'The Paddock' as a place to stay when visiting the St. Andrews and surrounding area. Sheila & Ian

The 5 of us spent a bight at The Paddock. We booked a family suite and a double room. The rooms and bathrooms were really clean, breakfast was great, surroundings were peaceful and the host family was friendly. Though our stay was short, it had certainly given us good memories and I would recommend this property to all. No regrets.

“Loved The Paddock”

We spent 2 weeks at The Paddock in Strathkinness, just 3 miles outside of St. Andrews, Scotland. The experience we had was absolutely excellent and I would highly recommend the property to anyone. The bed and breakfast was extremely clean; something the owners took pride in. It was also comfortable because each room had its own ensuite; not sharing a 'community bathroom' was a bonus. What made the experience fantastic overall was the hospitality of the hosts. The people were always jovial, happy to accomodate any requests; they had good knowlege of the area in order to give directions and recommendations. The breakfast in the morning was excellent with a choice of hot or cold items; lots of fruit and freshly baked breads. The entire experience was wonderful and I'd give it a 5 out of 5 rating.

My family and I spent 2 nights at the Paddock and will definately return. From the moment you walk through the door their is a friendly warm welcome waiting for you. The family room which we stayed in is very spacious, very modern, immaculate, comfortable and luxurious . The views from the room are spectacular and more importantly it is very peaceful. Everything a traveller could want is catered for in their room from a fridge, hairdryer, even down to all the small personal touches like tissues, magazines, and even cotton wool to remove your make-up. Breakfast consists of everything from fresh fruit, cereals, porridge to homemade walnut loaf and of course a cooked breakfast if you desire. Breakfast is taken in the family conservatory which looks out on to the rolling countryside. Travelling distance to St. Andrews is only mins away. Our family have travelled to St. Andrews for the past 2 years around our son's junior golf commitments and stayed in a variety of places, but none comes close to what the Paddock has to offer.
