Although we had originally hoped to stay right in St. Andrews, we had a difficult time finding a hotel or B&B that accepted children but didn't cost an arm and a leg. What a blessing that we came across The Paddock! Situated in tiny Strathkinness, just a few miles west of St. Andrews, it was excellent in every way. Our family room was spacious and clean. The hosts were very welcoming. My 10-year old said, "I don't feel like we're paying to stay here, I feel like they've invited us to stay." Breakfast (served in the sunroom) was delicious and the views lovely. If you don't have a car, it's a very inexpensive cab ride from the taxi stand in town. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend The Paddock to anyone looking for a friendly, comfortable, well-kept B&B.

I've stayed here a few times over the past few years, and would highly recommend it to anyone wanting to stay in the St Andrews area.

Situated in the small village of Strathkinness, about 5 miles from St Andrews, the bed an breakfast is ideally situated for visiting Fife. Rooms are tasteful and well appointed, and spotlessly clean. Guest also have the use of the conservatory area, and some of the garden. A generous breakfast is served in the conservatory which has beautiful views across open countryside.

However, what makes this bed and breakfast is the excellent hospitality of the hosts.
