Was encouraged by previous TripAdvisor reports, and a location that suited our family.

A beautiful, clean, crisp and roomy B&B. We had upstairs family room with brilliant shower-room.

Pleasant breakfast room with sunny views but always too warm, ending each breakfast with the french doors being opened. Why bother with the central heating in the first place?

Staff helpful with requests so do not be shy about asking.

Do not book here if you have a cat allergy.

My family stayed at "The Paddock "and we were more than impresed by the standards of this bed & breakfast. Linzi and Brian the owners were most helpful. Their standard of accomodation is five star, we had the "Family Room" which was big, bright and beautifully furnished with en suite, all immaculate with lovely bed linen and beautiful finishing touches such as matching table lamps, throws, cushions and not forgetting the most wondeful view from this "Family Room". If we ever pass this way again I will certainly book into "The Paddock" again.

When if i first arrived at the Paddock after a long drive, i felt extremely welcomed by the host, Linzi! She explained everything to me and showed me around the B&B and the beautiful Breakfast room was astounding! The sun was shining through the glass windows and the view was gorgeous, i just wished it was breakfast time already!

The room was fresh, bright, extremely clean and the bathroom was out of this world with a jacuzzi bath! Also the free Wi-Fi access was a huge bonus to me as i had my laptop with me and i could go on the internet at night, and it didn't cost a penny!

As for breakfast, i had a full Scottish breakfast, and i finished every bit of it! There was a huge range of cereals, fresh orange and apple juice, fresh fruit, rolls, muffins - more than enough!!! I looked forward to the breakfast every morning!

I would recommend this establishment to everyone, and i will defiantly be going back to the Paddock when i come back to St Andrews in the near future!

My husband ,in-laws and I stayed at "The paddock" for two nights in august,I would recommend it to everyone.
The rooms were spotless and the host was very funny and entertaining(great cook as well)
He also gave us fantastic tips on where to eat and what to see!
We will definitly be going back the next time we are in Scotland,the best b&b we stayed in during our entire trip!
