First visit, went as group of 8. Pub very busy, welcoming and friendly. Great buzz. We were booked in the dining room, which was rather quieter - and less atmospheric. Really friendly, helpful staff. Nice menu, with lots of fish and Scottish foods. Mixed bag really at our table - the king prawns and mussels were fab, the haggis in whisky sauce good, the scallops not so. Main courses again. - the trio of fish were all in batter/crumb, chicken a bit dry, raviloli good as was fish and chips. Steak Pie excellent. Steaks looked good too. We shared a brownie - delicious. People were eating in the bar too, and I would maybe try that next time.
