Owner description: Craigtoun Park is a 47 acre park only 2 miles from St Andrews. It's a great day out for the whole family. Try the Rio Grande railway, Crazy Golf, Putting and Puffin,Billy - the road train that takes you round the whole Park. There are boats and pedaloes, a Bouncy castle and pedal cars for the little uns. The cafe serves teas and coffees and has a huge selection of ice creams. Park is open weekends until 28th June and then daily until the end of August, then weekends through September and much of October.

Adventure Park is good and kids love the train ride but would say the boating lake could do with having a revamp.

“Craigtoun Park”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 27, 2013

Went to Craigtoun Park today to see if the taking over/running by the 'friends of' had made the park a fun place to visit again. They have.
Parking and entry to the park is free and you can choose to buy tickets from the office for the bouncy castle/putting/crazy golf/boats/trampolines/mini tractors, cars etc. We bought a daily ticket at only £6 each.
We played Crazy Golf twice, Putting once ( it's behind the hedge on the old bowling green),had a turn on the Train and a quick bounce on the Trampolines. We watched people having fun in the boats but didn't get in one. I thought that it had been well worth the money.

The food in the Café is good and value for money and there are plenty of picnic tables if you bring your own snacks.

“A fabulous place to enjoy a traditional day out in the park!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 16, 2013

I've been going to Craigtoun Park since I was a baby - and that was some time ago!! Like others I have been disappointed to see the gradual deterioration of the wonderful facilities here. However on my last visit in April 2013 I was delighted by the changes that the fabulous team of Friends of Craigtoun volunteers have brought about. The boating pond is open again with the new feature of pedallows, the train has made a welcome return and the crazy golf back! When we went over the easter holidays there was a bouncy castle which gives a good alternative to the amazing kids play area that was installed several years ago. The cafe was busy and serves good plain food such as burgers, sandwiches and baking at a reasonable cost. I understand from speaking to one of the volunteers that all the money that comes into the park will be reinvested back in to continuing the improvements and providing new activities and facilities for families to enjoy. Looking forward to my next visit in the summer!

“Great value, great fun, great volunteers”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 11, 2013 via mobile

We bought a family day ticket and used it all day. Friends of Craigtoun park have saved this fantastic park. It still needs a lot of TLC but they are determined to get there.
We loved it and my grandsons are still raving about it. Thank you friends and good luck hope to visit again soon.

“"Brilliant attraction that all the family will enjoy."”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 1, 2013

This is a brilliant attraction that all the family will enjoy!!! There is free parking, a lovely little train that goes round the park, rowing boats for all the family, crazy golf, a play area and trampolines, a cafe and lovely grounds to walk around. I would definately reccomend this because there has been many improvements to the park in the past year or so and i think that everyone should enjoy it!!!
