Pity that it is now a ruin, as it must have been spectacular in its short life as a complete cathedral. The building technology of the time simply could not match the power of a good North Sea storm, sadly. Now the ruins are atmospheric, and a climb up St Rule's tower affords great views over the whole town. Well worth the effort and entry fee.
