We booked it for a special night away and were disappointed as the kitchen was not clean and the furniture in the sitting room grubby.There were no fresh flowers as stated in the website.The bathroom and bedroom were fine but the decked area would not be a pleasure to sit on due to bird mess although the grounds are lovely.

Lovely place, very unusual and very good value. Fantastic location £6 - 7 in a taxi to St Andrews.
Mix up with booking meant we only got one night rather than two. The management we very apologetic and fixed us up with somewhere else nearby.
Rooms are well appointed. We stayed in carriage with kitchen, nice shower ensuite and good size bed. lounge has DVD player.
Very good breakfast. Highly recommed this place for that unusual weekend

I booked a night at The Old Station for my husband's birthday. We stayed in one of the carriage suites and it was a real treat. Really unusual and very tastefully done. The suite had everything you could need for an enjoyable stay and it really was an great experience. We had a lovely breakfast in the main house in the morning- plenty of fruit,toast and cooked breakfast. Excellent value for money and well worth a visit for a special ocassion or just a treat.

I've taken my girlfriend here three times now and stayed in the carraige each time. The standard of accomodation is high, it's also a very unique place to a weekend away. It's a cheap taxi into St Andrews, so you can have a drink and return for an early night.
New people have recently taken over, my last stay was just as good with them as with the previous owners.
I'll be back again without a doubt!
