“Fantastic”

Food was fantastic as usual, very flavoursome. Don't know how these other reviews can say the food is bland? It's anything but.

“Always a treat”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 6, 2014

Fantastic food and a good price. The selection of food is good and the waiters are friendly and helpful. If you are uncertain what to order the waiter very nicely guides you to the dish best for you. Not pushy and very accepting of children.

“AWFUL! - The worst food we have ever had!”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed March 30, 2014 via mobile

The worst service and food we have ever tasted and had.

We thought that for the price this would be delicious, authentic Indian food. Don't be fooled! - it's over-priced, bland, tasteless food.

Firstly, the starters were just like something you'd find in the £1 shelf of a supermarket. They were bland, soggy, tasteless and overlooked. Half of our starters were completely burnt.

Secondly, the main dishes were even worse. We had two completely different dishes and they were so bland and tasteless that they actually just tasted the same....it actually tasted like they are just using one sauce and adding different food colourings. There was a measly 4 pieces of chicken in each main dish - pathetic when your paying around £10 per main dish!!

The accompaniments were just as disappointing. The nan-bread was totally burnt to a crisp! The spiced onions weren't chopped properly - we had absolutely huge chunks of onion and the skin from the onion in ours! We were actually having to pick onion skin out!! - not nice.

Lastly, the service was an absolute disgrace - and that's putting it nicely!

I would recommend to keep your money and go elsewhere. The food is pricey and we thought that this would equate to nice authentic Indian food. 100% NOT the case! Cheap, nasty tasting food that was over-priced, stone cold and burnt. I have tasted better £1 ready meals than this food!

We will never ever be returning to this place. I'm just very sad that we actually spent over £50 on a meal which we could have got for £5 out of asda and it probably would have tasted 10x better!

“Absolutely dreadful”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed March 30, 2014

This place also offers delivery, so instead of heading out to the restaurant last night we decided to stay in and order from the restaurant for delivery. We were utterly appalled and so disappointed. Not only did several dishes burst in the bag creating an almighty mess, but the food was stone cold and half of it was burnt. The main dishes were bland and tasteless - absolutely nothing like authentic Indian! The dishes were more like something you'd buy in a tin from Asda!! For the price we paid for the starters, meal and dishes we were deeply disappointed! We will never be back and will certainly be going elsewhere next time we fancy an Indian dish. Cold, tasteless and burnt food. For the prices charged I certainly would not recommend this place.
