Just spent a great few days at the Belvedere, the views are really something not to be missed.
Food and service are second to none, spread the word to your friends and family, when coming to Scotland, this is the place to stay!!!

Situated a 15 minute drive from Kircaldy, located on the sea front of West Wymess is the Belvedere Hotel. There is little else in West Wymess of note but the hotel sits right on the Fife Coastal path and access to the pebbly beach is down a few steps at the front of the hotel.

The welcoming owners have clearly been giving this hotel a revamp since they took ownership of the Belvedere a year ago, with freshly decorated rooms and public areas.

We stayed with our 2 dogs in a room in a small building a few yards from the main hotel giving us instant access to outside avoiding having to take the dogs through the hotel. The room was a good size with comfy beds, tele, tea and coffee etc. - the bathroom had obviously been redone recently.

The rooms are very comfortable and clean and worthy of the star rating; but it is the food that stands out at the Belvedere. An excellent choice of menus from simple tasty bar food to more fancy main meals in the waterfront restauraunt. The food was well priced and of a high standard - worthy of a five star hotel. Breakfast was particularly good and with a price of £65 per room B&B you wont go far wrong at the Belvedere.

We would like to thank Mike , Jean & all their staff for a very pleasant stay. We went up to the hotel for a surprize for our cousin's 50th wedding dinner, from Somerset. The evening & the stay at this lovely Hotel was memorable for all of us, topped by the meals & the service, they have a very good chef producing the best of fare. One cant go wrong selecting this Hotel, the views from here are great , its peaceful & quiet, we would be very happy to return for a longer visit next time.

We have just spent a weekend at the Belvedere, I have to day that this place is a hidden gem. The new owners Michael and Jane made us feel so at home, it was like we had known them for years. They have recently got a new chef who turned out some wonderful dishes. The hotel is very clean and tidy, the views are second to none and if your looking for a quiet and relaxing place to stay, this is the place to go.

“Excellent Hotel”

Thanks to Rick and Stacey for being excellent hosts. The food was great, the room was clean, warm and very homely, apart from the shower which I think would benefit from an upgrade, whilst it was going there was a steady stream of water running from underneath the seal and by the time you had finished the whole floor right up to the door was flooded.
Apart from the shower this hotel has to be highly recommended and we would definately return.
