“Nice hotel, good location if heading north out of Edinburgh”

Generally very positive and welcoming. Bedroom comfortable, clean and well equiped.

Staff very pleasant and facilities good.

Location a bit out of the way, too far out for Edinburgh but good if travelling north or wanting a quiet stopever reasonably close to the airport.

Quiet at night as it's set way back from a village, but no very pretty beyond the garden if front of the conservatory. Room overlooled a building site as they're extending the hotel, but up to 0900 no sign of any building work going on.

Would stay again if in the area

“Pure Magic”

We have just returned from a 3 night stay at Keavil House Hotel in Fife. We booked their New Year package because my friend was celebrating her 40th birthday on Hogmanay and we wanted it to be a birthday to remember. It was certainly that! From the moment we arrived until our departure we could not fault the hotel. The rooms were generous, the interior was very relaxing, the staff were friendly and courteous in particular "Mags" and the food was exceptional. The Cardoon restaurant is an award winning restaurant and you can see why. The leisure facilities were well used by all as the pool was ample for adults to swim as well as for the children to play. It is a great addition to the hotel.
Will be book again and return - ABSOLUTELY! Will we recommend it to others? - perhaps not. It is a little piece of heaven too good to share.
