“A WALK THROUGH TIME..”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 18, 2013

A World heritage site..great views from Croy hill over the kilsyth hills, the site of the fort at croy hill well worth the hike up to, even in the cold and the snow of a March day..
A pending dig at the site on the remains of the bath roman bath house and recently discovered fort cemetary should be underway in summer 2013..."who knows what this will uncover..."

“History in evidence”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 14, 2013

Research the line of the Antoine Way so that you know where the walks are as there are many around central Scotland. Good walking boots is recommended as well as an OS map. At various parts, there are pubs and restaurants to take a well earned break.

“Lovely Walk with scenery and historic vibe”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 11, 2013

This is a lovely walk along the Antonine Wall point, with good parts of the wall still viewable. 60km the full length of the walk.

“The Antonine Wall”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 28, 2012

A pathway from the Falkirk Wheel is very well marked. We were fortunate that it was a very nice day for a walk. We followed the path to the remains of the Antonine Wall. At this particular location, however, there isn't much to see. I was expecting something more like what we had seen of the wall in Glasgow. It is very well posted and explanations are given as to what took place here. The wall itself dates back to around 142 A.D
