Stayed here just one night and it was really good. The room was tiny and very hot, but had everything we needed and was nicely decorated and very comfortable. Lobby/bar area also nicely decorated and nice to hang out in. Only complaint re. cleanliness was a ring around the plug hole in the bathroom. Staff were all pleasant and efficient. Breakfast was pretty standard but there was lots off it.

Falkirk would not be my choice of holiday destination but this is a good, honest hotel. Staff were helpful and friendly; room was large and clean; bed comfortable; room service food, while by no means sophisticated, was decent; breakfast was substantial. A wedding reception was taking place on the evening of my stay but I never heard it and was undisturbed.

Accomodation was a bit lacking in this area when we pulled up outside this hotel having made a very short notice booking. We were told that there was only a small double left so booked it anyway and took our chances. As it turned out the room was fine. it was clean, well designed with everything we wanted. It overlooked the rear of the hotel onto a flat roof and the bins, but this never bothered us.
You don't go to a hotel like this for the veiw!!!! If you think this might be a problem for you then book a room at the front. The hotel was very busy with a wedding going on but everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves and we had no problem with noise.
Breakfast the next morning was brilliant and served with a smile. All said at £75 it was the best bargain we had towards the end of our 2 week long 13 hotel highland tour.

First impressions are that this started life in the 60's as a "Post House", or similar. It has that look about it and the interior areas that have not been modernised are very dated - all dark browns, creams and teak. We had booked a "superior" room and I suppose that was what we had. It had been refurbished with modernwallpaper, modern bedding and a flat screen telly, hung on the wall. The room itself was smaller than I expected it would be - just like a Post House - and all the front side was a large picture window - so 1960's! The bathroom looked original. It was clean enough until you looked at the detail. The corners were grubby and the edge of the bath panel where it met the floor was tatty and looked seriously unclean. It just needed a bit of care and attention to finish it off. And there's no soundproofing - as we discovered the next morning when I was awoken by the sound of our room neighbour emptying his bladder into the room next door. That was what could be heard from our bedroom and it appeared as though the bathrooms were interconnected by an airbrick. you don;t get this in a Premier Inn at £50 a night, so you don't expect it in a place costing £100 a night.
The restaurant is £10 per person from a simple menu. The food is OK, compare with a pub for quality and selection, but the atmosphere is like a motorway service area and the service is extremely rushed - unpleasantly so. Better to find somewhere else and pay a bit more, I think. Breakfast was nothing to write about either - typical chain hotel stuff (but the whole point of BW hotels is that they aren't chains!!), bacon, sausage, eggs swimming in grease. Very disappointed with this one and not somewhere that I'll be going back to.

Stay at this hotel on 17th May for business. The location was excellent, however the facilities in the hotel was lacking. The room was very small and the bathroom was basic. Also, when I needed a iron they were non available and reception were very unhelpful even when I explained that I needed to iron my shirt for an important meeting the next day. However, the worst part of this stay was trying to sleep. I was positioned at the back of the hotel with the noise of the hotel heating system throughout the night and guests shouting outside the room while they are talking to each other. Added to this the room was too hot to sleep in. The worst night sleep I have had in a long while and I will not stay at this hotel again!

Very nice comfortable hotel, lovely crisp bed linen.

Breakfast would have been very nice had it been hotter. Had i complained i am sure it would have been rectified.
