“Great atmosphere, Great food, they have certainly got it together”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 2, 2014

I was here for a ladies night out (12 of us), We had a really lovely time, I was a bit nervous as I had eaten here 3 times before, when the restaurant was new and I did not have a wonderful experience, but it had been a few years. All my worries were unfounded the staff coped beautifully, despite Rod Stewart being in town and the every place was heaving with people, the staff managed very well. All our orders came on time, we all got exactly what we asked for and the food was just gorgeous, the food choice was huge something for the adventurous to those with delicate tummies who cant handle spices. The cocktail menu was lovely. The ambiance in La Banca is fantastic you really do feel like your in Spain and on your holidays. The toilets are upstairs and are very clean, you have to pass the massive fish tank on the way there which is a lovely touch. At about 9.30pm a singing act started up which was great, light kind of cheesy music to get you all in the party mood. We loved our experience and I will be definitely be back and recommend it. One complaint though, I came back the following week for just drinks at the bar, my husband stood for 15 mins at the bar & couldn't get served we were then offered a table, we placed a cocktail order and 40 mins later, still no cocktails, we at this point just left. You have ironed out all the food service issues from your early days, it's time to concentrate on the bar, you have become hugely popular for cocktails and cabaret in its own right but you need more staff to cope with your weekend demand for cocktails, they are truly fantastic cocktails but not many of us are willing to wait 55mins dry mouthed on a Saturday night and still not get a drink. I will be back, I would highly recommend you to anyone but please take on board the bar issue.

“Hugely expensive and not much of it”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed June 23, 2014

visited on Sat 21st June, service at the bar was excellent with very friendly staff and the atmosphere great, however, Tapas for two consisted of 4 meatballs in tomato sauce, a small bowl of patatas bravas in the same tomato sauce, a small bowl of paella and 6 king prawns in batter!! definitely not worth £29.95! would go back for drinks and atmosphere but not food.

“Brilliant!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 13, 2014 via mobile

Today was our first time visiting "La banca". The staff were freindly and couldn't do enough for us. The food is amazing!!! We struggled to decide what to have! We sampled some of the wide variety of yummy cocktails. Can't wait to go back! Deff no 1 Restaurant in Falkirk for us!
