Organised a rugby tour to Edinburgh earlier this year (May 2008) and had a brilliant experience.

Finding accommodation that can cater for 24 demanding players on a ‘vets’ tour is not the easiest experience. However, after a little searching came across these apartments. Initially never considered apartments for the simply reason of accommodating 24 people in the same location. We were able to book all 4 apartments which were all accessed through the same main door and stair, which in itself was very grand! All 4 apartments were spacious, lots of light, well appointed and fully furnished, exceeding our expectations.

On arrival, staff were there waiting to handover the keys and inform us of the area, they were very friendly and helpful. The apartments provided everyone space to spread out and relax. With the common access it allowed others to drift around and catch up. The beds were comfortable and the kitchens and bathrooms were very clean and showers hot. Each apartment had its own lounge, kitchen and dining area - it was terrific.

The location of the apartments was great - in a very nice area central to cafes, pubs, shops and restaurants. The walk into the old town is about a mile along a road well populated with every imaginable service you could ever need. The area provides large parks, heritage and a large swimming pool.

The most interesting reaction regarding the apartments was that many of the group requested contact details to return with friends and families, think that said it all!
