Lovely place, great room, excellent service. The only downside was room service not knocking before entering the room even when we were in it.

Accommodation excellent, room and bathroom large, better than some five star hotels at a fraction of the price. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the food and hospitality superb. Easy access into the centre of Edinburgh by local transport.

We have just returned from a 2 month holiday in UK/Europe and my husband and I spent 2 nights at Aaron Lodge from 16th July this year. The website attracts you to this beautiful accommodation but to stay there was certainly far better than we had imagined - the friendliness, cleanliness, wonderful ambience, decor, lovely breakfast, on-site parking, etc. etc. etc. - we cannot say enough about our very enjoyable stay there. The room was very tastefully furnished, everything you needed was there, the bathroom beautifully tiled, attention to detail with dim lighting, in fact we have never stayed in such a lovely b & b and look forward to returning when we come back to Scotland in the future. Having the bus on the door step was a huge bonus direct into town at a very good price. There is no need to look any further. Thank you Ted and Dot - your guarantee of elegance, comfort and luxury is most definitely what we received.

Dot and Ted were very welcome hosts and waited up for us when we very delayed after our flight and then got lost!

They looked after my 85 year old Mum, allocating her the nearest room to the Breakfast Conservatory. Just an example of how they go the extra mile to make everyone feel comfortable and welcome.

The rooms and the food were excellent too. Would certainly recommend and would visit again.
