This is the third time we have stayed here and it won't be the last. As always the reception is very friendly, the accomodation spotless and the breakfast was one of the best I have eaten away from home in forty years of travelling.
It is located convieniently for both the airport (20 mins) and travelling to the centre of Edinburgh (20 mins by car or taxi and a regular bus service from a stop almost opposite), whilst being quiet enough to relax in and have a wee dram before your repose.
The bed is large and very comfortable, something I rarely find (except in Scotland) and the provision of tea and coffee in the room was without question the very best I have found with a large selection of tea and freshly ground coffee.
The breakfast was just out of this world - not the usual fry up but the most innovative breakfast cuisine in B&Bs anywhere - and tasting exquisite. This place puts any hotel I have ever stayed in in the shade and is the benchmark for all B&Bs to aim for.
The owners where very approachable and flexible, happy to help wether it is booking you an evening meal or a taxi, or early breakfast to facilitate meeting an early flight departure. Have I mentioned the breakfast......
