We stayed at 14 Hart Street in Edinburgh when starting our Scotland trip and went back there for our last night too.
We got a very nice and personal welcome. The Georgian house is beautiful and gives you the possibility of staying in a historic place of Edinburgh. It is very well kept, such as ceilings, flooring, windows, ... Also the furnishing inside is very nice and well chosen. Included in a very fair price we found wine, good whiskey and delicious biscuits in our room. The room was very cosy and clean with a good bed and a nice bathroom. The freshly prepared English breakfast is served very elegantly in a Georgian style dining room together with daily papers. We hope to go back there soon.

James and Angela Wilson run a fantastic B&B in the heart of Edinburgh. It's a beautiful Georgian house with 3 en-suite rooms (very plush and newly installed shower rooms). We had a wonderful stay there, and had superb breakfasts in the beautifully appointed breakfast room. The Wilsons were very welcoming of us and our children and we will definitely stay there again in the future.

Highly recommended for a stay in this great city. James and Angela were superb hosts. The B&B house itself is a beautiful example of Edinburgh Georgian architecture . The room was clean, comfortable and tastefully decorated. A great location to explore Edinburgh from with helpful gracious hosts.

A beautiful Georgian house in the historic New Town area, very close for walking to the main sights. Furnished with antiques and feeling more like a boutique hotel than a B&B. Very friendly hosts who couldn't have been more helpful (even with our teething 6 month old!) A sumptious breakfast topped off a great experience, thank you Angela and James, we hope to return when Finlay is better behaved!

We spent a wonderful 5 nights in Edinbugh at 14 Hart Street. It could not have been more perfect. The home is situated in the heart of New Town, yet off well-traveled streets. This makes it quiet and calm -- yet quick to access the restaurants, tourist sites, and shopping areas. The home itself is lovely -- decorated with beautiful antiques and etchings. Our room - one of two -- was spacious, private, and very comfortable. The Scottish breakfast was both hearty and delicious -- we didn't need to eat again till dinner. Our hosts provided us with all the information we needed to make our stay enjoyable -- yet all the privacy we wanted as well. Can't say enough good things about this lovely B&B.
