Couldn't have had a nicer stay. Warm, lovely greeting from Edna and Forbes, and checked into their biggest room--could have fit another family in the bunk beds, and it still left us plenty of room to stretch out and spread out our things.
An exemplary breakfast--the "Full Scottish Fry-Up" well worth the price of admission, and filling! Can also be made to order, but such nice, spicy Haggis was a dream (I had been worried I wouldn't like Haggis, the Scottish national dish, Edna made a believer out of me!)
In room fridge, and electric kettle made a nice cup of afternoon tea a dream after a filling breakfast, and full day of exploring.
Near the port of Leith, just far enough away from the hustle of Edinburgh, yet on a main bus line, was an easy commute to see the sights. Next door to an Indian restaurant, for the second best known Scottish food!
