We stay in Aaran Lodge for 3 nights it's a beautiful B&B, the hospitality was magnificent and the service was great...and Theresa has been an amazing land-lady.
We'd like to come back to Edimburgh because it's a beautiful city,and of course we'd like to come back to Aaran Lodge because we had a great experience there.

After looking for a hotel in the centre of town i stumbled across this gem! Although situated a little outside the city the convenient transport links made Aaran Lodge an ideal location.

The property should be 5* and the prices do not reflect the high standards that the owner has set. We were made to feel very welcome and nothing was a problem to the owner who gave us great advice about places to go.

I will definitely be back to Aaran Lodge on my next visit to Edinburgh.

What a find!

We visit Edinburgh most years for the Fringe festival. We found this guest house through the A1 tourism website and e-mailed the property directly to make the booking, which was handled very quickly and efficiently.

Although parking at the property itself was not quite as easy as the website suggested, there was plenty of parking available at the hotel next door and so was not a problem. In fact we left the car there for most of our stay as we made use of the excellent bus service into the city centre.

Theresa, the host, was very welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. The room was very comfortable, with a high standard of cleanliness and furnishings.

We would highly recommend the guest house and look forward to future visits.

We stayed at the Aaran Lodge House for 3 nights with our 3 year-old and the experience was very good.
Everything is tastefully decorated. We had a room with a double bed and a single bed for the boy. The breakfast was very good. Theresa looked after every detail. She was very attentive and helpful.
The location is perfect because it is peaceful and you can take the bus just next door from the house. It is very convinient. We took the 44 every morning with the kid and returned late in the afternoon.
As the boy wouldn't walk very much, we found a perfect place to have dinner in the hotel just next door.
When we visit again Edinburgh, I'm sure we will return to this house.
