Great, modern hotel within easy walking distance of the city's main tourist attractions, but with the added bonus of being in a quiet location.

The rate we paid for the double room was certainly worth it, especially given the tasty full scottish breakfast that was included. I would certainly stay at this hotel again.

Had a skyline room... amazing views of Salisbury Crags and Arthur's Seat.

Get the nice and easy package over a weekend for a good rate and a free bottle of champagne (proper french stuff).

The room itself is big! But does seem to lack a bit of furniture, but that's being a bit picky.

Bathroom big and well appointed... not sure about the half see through door and the shower controls... no idea what the heck was going on there!

Breakfast was pretty good and the staff helpful and polite.

It'll need a spruce up in the next 6 months or so... but none the less still a good hotel for the money.

It's a 10 min walk to the castle and about 15-20 to Princes St.

This is a new hotel in just a few blocks from the main streets with restaurants and pubs. The castle is walking distance as well. All the hardware in the bathroom is modern stainless steel and the room furnishings are sharp and clean. The breakfast is fantastic. I would stay here again absolutely.

I stayed here with my boyfriend for a three night stay and we absolutely loved it! The place is just as you see in the photos! The rooms are far nicer and cleaner than any three star I've ever stayed in and the breakfast is first class. It is very well located, only a few hundred metres to the centre of the city which was great. There is a restaurant near the hotel called "Buffalo Grill" that is recommended on this website and its very nice and affordable.
