My friends and I stayed at the Ayden in their family suite for two days in August. We found the room to be spacious, bright, clean, and very accommodating for 4 people. The breakfasts were fantastic and the hosts warm, welcoming, and helpful. We would stay here again.

This is a a beatifully decorated (recently refurbished), comfortable and convenient guest house. There was ample on-street parking as well as a bus at the door, literally! Debbie made our stay even more enjoyable with her friendliness and helpfulness. The food was really exceptional, as we found out by comparison with other B&Bs later in our UK trip.

We had a large family room which was great for our family of five, and couldn't have asked for a better base for our first visit to Scotland.

I can't say enough good things about the Ayden! Upon our arrival, Debbie was very welcoming and informative, showing us our room and facilities, helping to carry up our luggage, as well as giving us some information about the city and bus routes. We mentioned we had had some car trouble and asked if she could call a mechanic for us. She did and even got us an appointment for the very next morning at a trusted shop just around the corner. The room was spacious and comfortable with nice windows that open to get a fresh breeze. The breakfast was some of the best food we had on our entire trip! I highly recommend the eggs benedict! Breakfast was relaxing and very filling, getting you ready for a day of sight seeing. All in all I would highly recommend the Ayden Guest House. The hostess and the food were excellent, the rooms, very nice and the location was good. If we are ever in Edinburg again, there is no other place we would stay!
