Just returned from Edinburgh stayed at Smart City Hostel just off the Royal Mile.

Great place to stay, still in construction but staff are more than helpful. Rooms are very clean, Free WIFI YES FREE, with shower and toilet in every room, great shower very powerful, everything new, two minutes from the castle.

The hostel is nice and quite but has a cyber cafe and everyone talks to each other, staff shared their choclates with me which i thought was very kind.

Great place to stay.

Edinburgh great place to go to, people are friendly, food is good, beer is great.
