Stayed here for a weekend in January with my boyfriend, the room was very clean and spacious , with a large shower room with a pod shower cubicle , which was so comfortable i sat for 30 mins!!! we ate in the hotel restaurant on the second night and the food and service was excellent, what i liked most about this hotel is the fact that the service throughout the hotel was of a very high standard without the usual stuffyness that you tend to get with high class hotels
will definatly be returning to this hotel if we return to edinburgh

We booked through laterooms.com for 2 nights b&b in excutive room and paid £170. The radiators did not heat up in the bathroom and this didnt change even though we reported it. The flat sceen tv only really had 1 channel- the rest had broken signal. The shower cubicle was not great- nowhere to hold toiletries, sealing strip around the edge in the room.
Just did not feel it was worth £85 per night.

Only stayed one night at this hotel but we were very impressed.

The staff were very friendly, informal and helpful. Rooms were surpisingly contemporary and everything worked very well. The outside grounds could maybe have been a bit tidier (litter, piles of gravel, etc) but this did not detract much from our overall experience.

If you want a quality hotel in Edinburgh with good parking, excellent service and not too far from the centre then this is the place.

We stayed at the Victoria Park Hotel for four nights over new years. The hotel itself is quite nice, although a little sterile... we had booked a suite but it was so small there was literally no space for our suitcase.

The central heating was way too hot and we had no control over this... I think it came on about 6 in the morning and we ended up opening our windows in the room (with a lot of difficulty) just so we could breathe in our sleep.

The worst part to the whole experience was the bathroom. The shower pressure was so bad that I literally had to stand under for about 3minutes just to wet my hear...

Overall, for £110 a night, this hotel was definitely not worth it! We understood it was out of the city, and were prepared for this, but it was the other things mentioned above that really let it all down...

A positive to leave on however, was that the staff were very friendly and helpful.
