We stayed here to go to the Hogmany and it was a pleasant stay, the room was lovely and quiet, dispite being on the main road. Breakfast was nice. Service was polite and friendly. Whole hotel was clean and smart.

Stayed for one night at the victoria park house hotel, and it was great. the rooms were really modern, with a mini plasma tv, and very clean facilities. The staff were really lovely, and welcoming, and the breakfast was fab! Only two things that some may not like......it is about 5 drive form the centre, so not good walking distance, and the "double" bed was made up of 2 singles, and that was a little uncomfy, but overall, very very good!

We were invited for a complimentary stay by the hotel after we had been very disappointed with the hotel when we had stayed in June 2006.

This time we could see that there had been quite a few improvements - for example comfortable beds, a working kettle and television,a new ensuite shower room and the decor was new and fresh.

Unfortunately we were not able to see the restaurant up and running and missed out on the complimentary meal we were offered as the work was not fully completed. However, in the morning we had a lovely breakfast with a good selection of cereals or a variety of cooked choices and Davide was very attentive and kept everything stocked up.

The hotel has its own parking which is useful and it is well placed if you want to be near but not in the centre of Edinburgh. We found it very easy to get into the city centre from here and also it was very well placed for our trip to Brittania the following day.

My boyfriend and I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights in October. We had two different rooms as we'd wanted the jacuzzi room for all three nights but unfortunatley it had already been booked for our first night. So we stayed in a twin room on the first night which was fine, clean and cosy with a nice digital flat screen tv, tea and coffee making facilities and internet connection. The bathroom was extremely clean.

For our second and third night we moved to room 10 - complete with a jacuzzi bath. The day before we had been told to leave our bags in our original rooms and they would be moved for us which was nice.

Our new room was excellent, absolutely huge! and the bathroom was a treat, jacuzzi bath was fabulous and we made the most of it!

Breakfast was fine with lots of choice, cereal and fruit followed by a choice of various cooked breakfasts (including a vegetarian one - to my pleasure!)

Staff were welcoming and friendly and very helpful and would do their best to help with any requests or questions.

Getting into edinburgh was easy with a bus stop 2mins walk away from the hotel, cost a pound for a single into the centre.

I would definitely stay here again on a future trip to Edinburgh.
