A friend recommended we stay at Premier Inn so it was new to us but she had said they had special deals available. So, we booked and didn't have any high expectations but were very pleasantly surprised. Very cosy, clean and everything you could need plus very friendly and professional staff. Will be back.

We have stayed at this particular Premier Inn on a number of occasions over the last 14 years years - in fact we have seen it grow from it's original size to what it is now, so we know it well! In the last two years or so we have noticed that the standards at this this Inn and others that we have stayed at in the UK have got better and better. Our Room and Bathroom were spotless and remained so during our visit. Staff qualities have also improved - we travel a lot so we recognise Good Service anywhere just as quickly as Unacceptable Service. The 'Brewers Fayre' Restaurant next door offers a range of well-priced good substantial Food and Drinks and there are 'Specials' every night of the week that meet most tastes - Italian, Curries, etc.The weather during our stay was atrocious, with heavy winds, rain, hail, sleet and snow - a typical Scottish Summer - so coming back from the City to a warm, comfortable Room where you didn't need to travel far for a good Meal made it all worthwhile! We'll be back.

Stayed here as a base for Christmas markets. Bus at end of car park straight to Princes Street (no 10) saves hassle of parking in edinburgh. Must say that for a family room (we have stayed in many a Premier Inn) the size of a room and the quality of kids beds (7 and 10 year old) were really good. Didn't hang around much in the hotel but excellent value for money. Restaurant bit disorganised for breakfast but decent buffet.

Very clean throughout the hotel. Good size room with excellent harbour views. Breakfast was in the Brewers Fayre next door and was a Buffett style which catered for every need. The staff we very friendly and helpful in both the hotel and Brewers Fayre. Good food, great room, would definitely stay here again!

Staff at all times were very welcoming even though this was a self check in system. Not the way forward in my opinion! Room very cold on arrival mentioned it to reception who sorted the heating straight away. Clean well positioned place to stay for a trip around Edinburgh.

Room Tip: Rooms facing the waterfront very nice to wake up to.

We stayed here as it offered free parking. It was easy to leave car and buses 10 & 11 left from outside hotel to city centre. We took advantage of the meal deal where you get 2 course dinner, drink and breakfast for around £25. It's definitely worth it as there were no menu restrictions and it was nice to have a relaxing meal after the hustle of the Xmas market. I don't think you can beat premier inn for value.

A very useful Hotel for visiting Edinburgh. Located next to Firth of Forth. Free car park and inexpensive bus service (no 10) travels direct into City - stopping in Princess Street.
Hotel to normal Premier standards and service. Staff very helpful and knowledgeable.
