Went here with my bf. This is a good value place to stay given the price, location and quality of accomodation. Whilst not palacial, it is a large size for a b&b so it feels spacious even if it is full with other guests. We were there during peak time over the summer and found the service to also be helpful and prompt despite it obviously being full - perhaps something i am not use after living in london for several years!!
The owners are really friendly and always ready to provide you with info on the local sites. They can help you book a trip to the Highlands as well with a discount which we were going to do but didn't in the end b/c of lack of time.
Whilst not right in the city centre it is only a 15 minutes stroll and there is a bus stop across the place if you are feeling lazy.
The breakfast is well cooked, and they are very flexible in accomodating any dietary requirements.
If you are on a budget, especially during the summer period this is a nice place to go if you want a cosy family feel rather than a budget hotel experience. Especially with Charlie the parrot in the living room to add character to your stay!
