I went in July which is high season so I thought the price was reasonable compared to other places. The place was clean and comfortable; food was great - maybe a little too good as the scale can attest... Ok, that is an excuse, they offered a nice assortment of fresh fruits and healthy stuff, but when in Scotland, you should do like the Scots, so let go of your inhibitions and indulge in a traditional Scottish breakfast, which I found delicious. The owners were really helpful, if you have any questions or if you want to book restaurants or what to visit. I found the couple charming, nice family run place, feels cozy. LOVE THAT PARROT, CHARLIE!!! If you do tours to the Highlands, which you definitely should if you are there, you can get a discount, just talk to the owners. The only thing that you might get picky about is that Kariba house is not situated right in town, but you can walk (only 15 min) or take the bus into town which is right outside the front steps, so really that is no big deal. The walk is nice, gives you a chance to work off that good food.
