This is a small family owned guest house in Leith. All rooms are tastefully decorated to a high standard. The service was excellent and very friendly. This hotel is directly on the bus route (Bus stop outside the hotel) and only ten minutes from the centre of Edinburgh. Breakfast is served between 8am and 9am, and guests can choose from a wide selection. The small breakfast room is sunny and also tastefully decorated.
All in all, we can recommend the Guest House to future guests and would stay there again.

We are from Malta and spent 2 nights at the Sandaig (family of four). first impression was okay but then room turned out to be very nice, staff and owners extremely helpful and they also have excellent breakfast service (but stops at 9:00am, so night owls watch out..). There is ample free street parking in front of hotel and a short bus ride takes you to centre (though we opted to walk on second day). Hotel overlooks Leith Park, is close to Britannia and the shopping mall. Its above average for a Guest house, clean and friendly. Ideal for anyone not keen on lodging dead centre in the city, easily reached by car and very accessible to city centre.

Wonderful guest house, friendly and knowledgable staff.
Very easy access to both the city centre (10mins) and the 'Ocean Terminal' (10mins, Shopping and Royal Yacht Britannia). We came to stay for our wedding anniversary and really couldn't fault our time away at all. (apart from the weather!?). Would thoroughly recommend this guest house to anyone who is staying in Edinburgh.
We have stayed at other hotels/ guest houses before and paid a lot more! - however we felt we received far better sevice, much firendlier staff and much cleaner and more welcoming rooms than we've experienced EVER!!
