A single night and breakfast at the Sandaig has convinced me this is the sort of hotel you want to keep to yourself. The people are welcoming, the rooms are clean and comfortable and the breakfasts prepared to perfection. I was on a business trip and stumbled across the Sandaig on a website and booked primarily for the location - but this is worth a large detour. Match the qualities of a family home and a great small hotel and this is the Sandaig.

I am now a regular guest of the Sandaig, I tried others before I discovered this great place. The cleanliness, friendliness and the excellent breakfasts make a great experience.

I had a delightful 1-night stay at the Sandaig.

My (twin) room was beautifully furnished and there were a number of charming "touches" (the decanter of strawberry whiskey liquer, the biscotti for enjoying with your coffee, the lovely toiletries in the bathroom).

The guest house was very quiet during my stay (doubtless due to off-peak season) and I was charged an exceptionally reasonable rate for such high-quality accommodation.

The owners were helpful and my early check-in time was happily accommodated. The morning breakfast menu offered a large selection and my choice (porridge followed by scrambled eggs) was delicious.

I would definitely stay at the Sandaig again.

Lovely guest house very friendly staff, central only five mins or so on bus to city centre and bus stops just outside. Rooms are lovely, clean and the beds are sooo comfy!! Had a great stay and would definately stay again.
