Booked into this delightful B and B for weekend to meet up with friends. It was very easy to find after travelling from the NE of England up the A1, parking is available ( and Jas even sorts it out for you!)
Great welcome into their from both Isobel and James, the room we had was lovely. Huge bed ( and extremely comfortable) , immaculate room and bathroom. There were lots of nice touches---fruit, biscuits, water and milk in fridge, tea and coffee. The dining room is charming ,decorated in a lovely Scottish theme( including a picture of the lovely Sean Connery!).
I can't comment personally on the breakfast as I became ill overnight and had to cut our stay short, but my husband was well impressed with "The Braveheart". He didn't eat again till after 6 that night!
I 'd love to visit Edinburgh again, and would definitely stay here again .It's a 20-25 minute stroll into the city centre down a pleasant road lined with shops. The location of the B and B is fabulous...quiet street and the house has a lovely back garden.
All in all, I don't think this place could be bettered.
