What can I say. The most spectacular Guesthouse I have stayed in. Fantastic cosy and yet spacious rooms. This is by far the cleanest and most comfortable establishment I have stayed in throughout the UK. Breakfast was very tasty and presented well. Despite being close to the main block, the Blacket Garden occupies a fantastic location. Thanks to Isobel and Jas who really made our stay. Very hospitable and friendly. I will recommend this to all of my friends who visit Edingburgh

A excellent home from home b&b, very friendly people and an gorgeous accomodation. Every thing you could need is thought of and breakfast is the best. Easy distance to town centre without being right on top of it all.

I stayed for one night at Blacket Garden Flat in March 2008. The quality of accommodation is excellent and I was treated to a very warm welcome. The breakfast was without doubt the best I have tasted in a long time and there was an excellent selection of continental and more traditional options.

I would strongly recommend Blacket Garden flat as the place to stay at in Edinburgh if you are looking for a warm welcome, excellent food and accommodation, and quiet and peaceful surroundings.

"Best of the Best"

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay of five nights with Isobel & Jas
they were very informative.

The Garden Flat was warm and cosy the breakfast was the best we have ever had in Edinburgh. The area was lovely and peaceful. We were within easy reach of shop's, museums and theatres by bus, car or just walking which will loved.

While we were staying there it was my wife's birthday and Isobel and Jas presented her with a card and bottle of wine which was very thoughtful.

We liked it so much we are going back to spend New Year.

Loved this place. Bedroom was really good size, very comfy and warm and clean.

The food was amazing every morning, and Isobel was at hand to help with all our local queries even the right pub to watch the rugby.

Will certainly be staying in this guest house again the next time we're north of the border.
