I knew this place would be budget end, but you still expect certain standards! The room was a decent size with three beds. Ground floor beside the family/or staff accommodation? It was pretty noisy first thing and until 11ish at night, our door opened onto the reception area. The sheets were clean but the other covers were filthy and very old, bobbly floral patterns ( maybe to disguise the dirt?!) You had to keep them off your skin or you'd be scratching! The shower room, toilet which was shared with the next room was disgusting. It had an old carpet, which was permanently wet and the shower tray was full of hair and filled up as you showered. I asked to have it looked at when we first arrived, the owner was in there for two minutes and said "it's ok now" he had obviously just waited for the last bits of crud to drain away until the next shower! I was tempted to go and buy some plug hole unblocker which I'm sure might have dealt with it. Obviously with a damp, unwashable floor(carpeted) the room smelt of urine. We paid £104 for two nights (thankfully room only) i can genuinely say that the place was a disgrace, we couldn't even bring ourselves to be polite enough to see if anybody was about to say goodbye when we left. Parking was very tight at the rear, very narrow lane entry. The rest you can get from other reviews. Fawlty towers, would be too good a compliment.
