I stayed here two weeks. The hotel was booked by the admin of the math department of Heriot-Watt University. Next time I will be back. Convenient location, fantastic service, reasonable rates. The staff is by far the best of the hotel. Ann & the girls gave me excellent tips about restaurants nearby. Try China Town (Chinese) and Kyloe (gourmet steaks). They were always very friendly. I felt as I was staying with friends. My room was in the top floor. Not bad but the window was kind of small. I got very little of light from outside, even on sunny days. The breakfast is good but the coffee is quite disappointing. They should try to get an espresso coffee machine and make cappuccinos and espressos. The lady who serves breakfast is very nice. After a couple of days she already knew my preferences. I got brown toasts, apple juice (instead of orange juice), yogurth, muesli and the "ineffable" coffee. I will be back again despite of the coffee. And I will try to get a better room.
