The Canon Court Apartments is a good apartment-hotel and a great place to stay while visiting Edinburgh. We got a two-bedroom-apt and it was modern, light and spacious. The bedrooms were quite large and had good space for keeping your clothes and stuff. The beds a little on the hard side. Nice and warm comforters. The living room had a dining-table with chairs and a good sofa + chair, TV, DVD, and CD-player/ radio. The kitchen was quite well equipped, modern and light with a good fridge. The frying pan was very cheap, though, so don't plan on any gourmet frying... The bathroom was nice and clean and had a bath-tub. Trouser-press and iron/ ironing-board. All in all a great place to stay if you like self-catering. Bus-stop right outside the hotel, but if you are able to walk for a while, the city-center is within walking-distance. Taxi was about 4 pounds from the city-center to the hotel. A great Tesco just a few hundred yards away - with a great choice of food and beverages. Good Chinese-restaurant and a good Italian restaurant very close by. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I will absolutely recommend a stay there!
