Spacious, clean apartment. Nice residential neighborhood about a 15-min walk from Princes St. Right round the corner from a terrific Tesco supermarket. Stayed for a week. It was very quiet during the week but picked up during the weekend. Room was ready for us at 10am. They allowed us to check in early which was a relief as we were tired from a long flight.

Didn't like the online reservation system but our reservation was received properly. I tried to confirm via e-mail with the Canon Court directly before my stay and never received a reply. They could improve this area. Also, a bit inconvenient if you don't arrive during reception hours--about 8-8 Mon-Fri, 8-2 Sat. and Sun.

Cable tv reception was horrible. Don't know if it was just our cable box or all of the rooms were like that. Didn't really come for the tv but it was a nuisance. Beds were hard but ok otherwise.

On the sign in the front of the building it says, "Luxury Self-Catering Accommodation". Although it was decent and comfortable it was hardly luxurious.

Would I stay there again? Yes, I would because it was good value for the money.

I stayed at the Canon Court apartments for four days last week. It does not feel like a hotel at all so if that is what you're looking for, you might not want to stay here. We had a one bedroom apartment which was spacious and clean!! Nothing like walking into your hotel room and smelling pine sol. It may mean nothing to you, but for a germaphobe like myself it was comforting. The neighborhood is great and there is a supermarket around the corner. The hotel is centrally located with various bus stops not even a block away. It is maybe a 5 stop ride to the city center. Absolutely walkable if you're in the mood. ( I wouldn't suggest doing this late at night.) Overall a great experience and i would definitely stay there again. I'm trying to think of a negative but honestly i can't think of one. Wait, got one, the ladies at the desk could have been a bit more helpful. That's all folks.

We stayed in a 2-bedroom apartment here, in the west end of the city of Edinburgh. The rooms are very spacious; kitchen and bath are very nicely equipped. Ah... a king-size bed! There's a TESCO grocery store around the corner, an excellent Italian restaurant across the street, parking in the back, and 2 bus lines across the street.

Excellent accommodations. Two ample sized bedrooms, huge bathroom, roomy living room - with two sofas and dinette, nicely sized kitchen. When you buy groceries, don't forget the paper towels and foil.

Forget about getting a rental - hire (rent) one only when needed, there are four bus lines with stops within 150 feet. Supermarket around the block. If you want to eat out, eat in old Edinburgh, restaurants are few in the immediate area.

Very environmental conscious - towel service and linen changes once or twice if you are staying a week like we did, otherwise changed with the changing of guests.
