Quite new hotel in the centre, very well located. Excellent leisure facilities and bar. Rooms were spacious, comfy and clean. Fast WiFi and a good range of TV channels

Staff were friendly and the bar was open until 5am - always a bonus. They had a Playstation in the looby as well!

We also used the conference facilities in the day along with ordering a buffett dinner for around 10/12 people which was excellent.

Would definitely stay here again and in fact am doing so in April!

I booked this hotel very last minute, and was really just looking for a bed and breakfast. However, the price for a room at the Novotel was pretty much the same, and it was far more central.

The location is great, although the car park thing was a bit annoying. We arrived late on a Saturday and paid to park on the road in front ofthe hotel, which wasn't too expensive as it is free after 6pm and on Sundays.

The hotel is really nicely done inside, and we were amazed when we got to our room. It was a superior one, and was lovely and big with a big bed, crisp white sheets, and sepaprae toliet and bathroom. The bathroom had a sepaprate shower cubicle and loads of good quality toiletries. The room itself had a full lenth mirror and hairdrier plugged in next to it, and a seating area with T.V. For the price we paid, literally the same as a B and B, we were delighted.

The leisre facilities were great, primarily because there was no one else there!! The changing room was very small, but fine as I was the only person in there, and the pool, Jacuzzi and Sauna certainly made up for the lack of a breakfast included in the price.

I really would reccomend ths hotel, especially if you manage to find a cheap deal. The walk into the centre is short and pleasant, you really can't go wrong with this one.

I stayed here overnight whilst visiting family for the usual New Years festivities. Hotel is clean and comfortable, though we were only in it to sleep and off again! Breakfast is ok, though one sunday morning did involve quite a queue at the door, and a wait to get a clean table! Beware of car parking charge, as can be quite expensive - seems to be the norm now for city centre hotels unfortunately!

Well i heard a lot so decided to stay in this four star hotel!
The most annoying part was, it was my third/last day in hotel and we were really tired by visiting city n other places! we wanted to sleep til 10 am but about 7.30/8am, a noise started coming from next room and we couldnt sleep at all! i called reception and reported tht, they said they gona do something but things remained the same!
my lil son too woke up sayin wats tht noise....?
We were there to relax, and it wasnt expected from a four star hotel! after lil while the noise became even louder tht we couldnt even talk to each others, it was builders in the other room doin some drilling and all, n changing carpet n stuff!
I called Reception again n they said if they can give me another room, but i wasnt in the mood of changing room early morning when we were in bed... so we just changed mind and left hotel..n spent the rest of time on the station waitin for the train!
I really dont understand how can they start tht work in one room when the next room is occupied?
Really Annoying experience!Will never recommend to anyone...
