Let's start with what a delightful man Gerald is. He makes you feel like family.
We arrived late on a Friday night and were greeted by Gerald at the door. He gave us the brief tour and showed us our room. After asking what our interests were, he made some suggestions for places to visit and left us to look over the maps and magazines he sets out in the room. Breakfast was amazing (though the mango juice caught my husband by surprise- he thought it was orange!), but how great is it that he has something as exotic as mango juice! Several kinds of cereals, yogurts, bread, eggs, and meats, you name it. It was enough to keep us both until dinner. The room was very comfortable, with a private bathroom. I always travel with my own toiletries so I can't speak to what he had, only that there seemed to be enough of everything. There were yummy little shortbread biscuits in the room as well as coffee and tea. The location is great. We walked everywhere, as you're only a couple blocks from Prince's Street, there were several small restaurants around to choose from as well. We ate at a tapas bar not far from Gerald's that was quite nice. I would without a doubt stay here again and wouldn't hesitate to recommend Geraldsplace to any of my friends. Oh, and for every tech-y person, we enjoyed free wireless internet.
