We went there during Easter holidays to get away from the crazy wedding planning home life.
We flew to Edinburgh and got a tram into the city center. The last tram stop is just opposite the Glasshouse.
Our room was beautiful, it had a great view - I bet it is even nicer during summer when everything is green!
We stayed for 2 nights and during one of them we stayed for dinner in because the "Snug" is just too nice not to enjoy it. Food was great, the service impeccable. We also had breakfast at the hotel - the breakfast room is beautiful and the selection of foods was great too. It really caters for all tastes.
The Glasshouse is very central and really doesn't take a long time to walk up to Royal Mile.
The roof top garden tops it all - we sat there one evening looking at the full moon and the stars, it really doesn't get more romantic than that!.
If I was to mentioned one negative it would have to be the bathroom's heated floor - at times it was just a little too much.
However, we had the time of our lives there and certainly would stay there again if we were to go to Edinburgh again!...
