We spent 4 nights at The Stuarts B&B -- absolutely lovely!! Our very spacious room was spotlessly clean and comfortable; looked out over the garden in back. Everything we needed was available: refrigerator, in-room coffee, complimentary bottle of wine, iron/board, visitor information, and toiletries. Oh, and they have a video library and in-room TV/VCR. The bathroom was just beautiful: large, great lighting and lots of counter space. Had a bidet and towel warmer. Bed linens and towels were high quality. Our room was quiet and comfortable. Location is BEST! Lovely residential area with easy walking to everything; many restaurants nearby. Directly across the street from Bruntsfield Links, where many locals spend their days and evenings relaxing in the park. Home-made breakfasts were delicious, and the Stuarts are hospitable and engaging. Provided us with valuable information to make our Edinburgh visit even more enjoyable. We would definitely stay at Stuarts again if travelling to Scotland. Friendly hosts, wonderful location -- and an added bonus: a computer available 24 hours to check your email! Great spot! I highly recommend! Enjoy!

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at The Stuarts last month. We had a lovely large bedroom filled with many thoughtful conveniences such as a refrigerator (with a complimentary bottle of wine in it), curling iron, adaptors (for foreign plugs) and chocolates. We also had a view of the pretty back garden. The location is ideal for seeing the sights yet quiet and residential. Very nice breakfast and helpful host. All this and free internet! Please note that, like many B&B's in Scotland, it has an electric instant hot water shower.

Wanting to organise a special suprise week-end away for my husband's 50th birthday, I chose the romantic city of Edinburgh. I spent several evenings trawling the internet before discovering The Stuart's B and B. The recommendations looked appealing and the pictures inviting. However both fell short of the wonderful surroundings and welcome we enjoyed in reality. Our room was large and tastefully furnished, with a very innovative unit which housed a tv/video, hifi, refreshments, fridge, ironing facilities and trouser press. The complimentary wine, water and shortbread biscuits were very welcome after a long drive.
The bathroom was truely luxurious- large, tastefully decorated and nicely lit with make up mirror lights.
Very useful information was provided regarding local facilities including restaurants within a 10 minute walk with accompanying contact numbers.
The breakfasts were superb- home made bread and first class preserves for starters and the most tempting cooked breakfasts, including smoked salmon and local organic eggs. All in all I can heartily recommend this B and B and will eagerly be passing on this info. to family and friends as well as returning ourselves in the future- we need look no further.

Have just had my second trip to the Stuarts B & B in Edinburgh. Excellent once again. The rooms are very spacious and comfortable and have really good amenities. Wonderful breakfasts and extremely welcoming host. The Stuarts certainly know how to make you feel at home and have an excellent knowledge of Edinburgh and can advise of places to visit. Highly recommended will certainly visit again.

My husband and I went on our first trip to Scotland and stayed at the Stuarts Bed and Breakfast. We had a wonderful time at their B&B. Jon and Gloria made us feel at home. If we had any questions about Edinburgh or getting around, they were quite helpful. We loved the B&B. The breakfasts were a welcomed treat. The rooms were spacious and homey. When we go back to Scotland, we hope to stay with them again.
