“Very good - close to the Castle.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 6, 2013

The hotel is located 5 minutes walking distant from the Edinburgh train station. Check in was excellent. People who is working there, they are really help-full and professionals. I usually doesn't care what view i have from window, because i never stay in the room when i am in holiday. More things to do that sit in the room. I was really surprise when i got it in the room. My room was located in the 6th floor and overlooking the park and Castle. Just pulled over the curtain and just watched the view. Everything was walking distant from there. I defiantly recommend to stay there.

Upon arrival, the staff were very helpful. They looked after the bags as we had arrived earlier than the check-in time. We were given a ticket for the luggage and you redeemed the ticket upon collection. The room was absolutely spotless. We asked for a Castle View which we got and were not disappointed with the view from the room. The bathroom was immaculate too. I will definitely stay here again. Not only was it a FAB location but it was the best Premier Inn hotel i have stayed in.

Room Tip: Ask for Castle View.

What a great place to stay, right in the heart of the city. Clean, comfy bed, quiet, friendly staff and we were lucky enough to get a room with a view of Edinburgh Castle. All at a very reasonable cost, we went for the Meal Deal a 3 course meal + breakfast. The meal was basic but good food. No complaints not one, would definitely use this hotel again without hesitation.

Excellent location and great value, very efficient service. I was concerned my room may have been noisy but I heard nothing and had a good sleep, rooms are basic but very clean, perfect hotel for shopping on Princess street.

We stayed here for 3 nights and found the staff to be lovely and welcoming - eventhough our train was very delayed and we checked in at 2am! Great value for clean and very comfortable accommodation (the bed was so comfortable!), and the fantastic location. Had a great view of the Edinburgh Castle which we weren't expecting which was an added bonus!
Would definitely recommend this place for it's location and value for money. Would stay here again when we come back to Edinburgh.

Room Tip: Try to ask for a room on the street side for views of the castle! I think most of their rooms do fac...

I stayed at this hotel for two nights between the 29th and 31st January. The welcome from the reception staff was fantatsic after a hard day in the office, no hastle or making you feel rushed, the room was very clean, fresh and modern and the view onto Edinburgh Castle was a suprise (the view was AMAZING!) All of the staff from the cleaner to the manager were great, they always said hello how are you and nothing was too much trouble. The location of the hotel is great, just a short walk to Rose Street and George Street with a wide selection of bars and resturants to cater for all tastes and pockets.
The only downside for me was that there was not enough tea, coffee or sugar in the room, but this is only a minor irritation that I can live with.
I'll be staying here again very shortly and I'm looking forward to returing.

Room Tip: Ask for a view of the castle!
