I would say Great staff, Great food, Great Stay overall. Only problem I had was the sausage at breakfast was not to my tasting but that's just me. In the morning before I left had a nice chat to Kerry I think the ladies name was. I would say rate overall was 8/10 .

We have stayed in Edinburgh many times, and usually use the premier inns, of course with this chain the value for money standard as ever was well exceeded, quiet location, pleasant staff and quality of service and food where you would expect it to be. The bonus for us was the location, not the most central inn we usually use, we were afforded discovering parts of Edinburgh we don't ususally examine, so for that alone worth a try.

Dear Paul J,

Thank you for taking the time to review your recent stay with us at Premier Inn Edinburgh Park (The Gyle).

I am delighted to hear you felt your stay had exceeded value for money and found the quality of service and food our team delivered to be above your expectations. The team work exceptionally hard every day to ensure our guests feel brilliant and receive fantastic service, so thank you for recognising their hard work.

Our location is a huge advantage for us with fantastic transport links to and from the city centre. The tram system is fantastic, with day tickets priced at £3.50 which allow for travel on all Lothian Buses in the city, it certainly does make exploring the city and discovering all that Edinburgh has to offer even easier.

Thank you again for your review and we hope to welcome you back to Premier Inn Edinburgh Park (The Gyle) again soon.

Yours Sincerely,

William Crow

My son, girlfriend & daughter booked this hotel on the recommendation of another family member. They were not dissappointed. The staff were very friendly and very welcoming. They have an 18 month old daughter and the staff looked after them really well, letting the little one watch tv at breakfast to help keep her happy.
Their room was on the train side of the hotel but this did not bother them as any noise was very minimal. The position next to both the tram & train lines made travel into Edinburgh City Centre so easy & very cheap.
They would recommend this hotel to anyone & are already thinking about booking their return trip for later in the year.
Thank you Premier Inn for making their short break a trip to remember.

Dear Shirley S,

Thank you for taking the time to post your son & his family’s review of their recent stay with us at Premier Inn Edinburgh Park (The Gyle).

It is fantastic to know that they booked to stay with us based on the recommendation of another family member and that they were not disappointed. Our staff strive to provide excellent customer service so I am delighted to hear you found them to be very friendly and welcoming.

We experience very little noise issues from the nearby train station and it proves to be a great advantage to our location as you can be in the city centre within 10 minutes by train. The tramline is also located next to our hotel making access to the city even easier and priced at £7.50 for the family day ticket, it offers fantastic value for money.

We are so pleased to hear your son & his family are already thinking about booking with us again and we look forward to welcoming them back in the future.

Yours Sincerely,

William Crow

I decided to stay here as it was close enough to the airport - there's also a Energie gym very close - walkable which if you enrol on pay as you gym you should get a days entrance - I'm sure they would take a day visit as well ! The rooms are as you would expect / I decided to eat in the attached costa for breakfast as it was half the price and just as nice ! There's emergency kits to buy if you forget anything - always good slept well and would stay again.

Dear CurlyJus,

Thank you for taking the time to review your recent stay with us at Premier Inn Edinburgh Park (The Gyle).

It is fantastic to know that you slept well during your stay and that you would happily stay with us again.

We are located 3 miles from Edinburgh Airport and with the trams running from the doors of the airport to our front doors it is extremely easy to get to us. You can also catch the tram into the city centre, which makes us an ideal location for those flying into Edinburgh for a short break or for business.

We are extremely lucky to have a Costa Coffee store within the hotel and they offer some fantastic products for breakfast, and the best coffee around. I am delighted to hear you enjoyed your breakfast and I know the team in Costa will be equally delighted to hear.

Thank you again for your review and we hope to welcome you back soon.

Yours Sincerely,

William Crow

Stayed here twice recently when on business, first time December 2014 and more recently January 2015.

Looks very new, ample parking and food is good (especially Burgers and Curry) with Becks on draft which is always a winner.

First time I visited followed TomTom which takes you the quickest way via the barrier entry which is for buses and local business only I presume. I did try pressing the buzzer but no response, so had to find the back route in via the business park. If you pass the Tesco and Heineken buildings you are on the right route.

Look forward to going back in the near future.

If you are sightseeing then you are virtually next door to tram which takes you into City Centre.

Recent business trips were to Heriott Watt University and Livingstone, very convenient and well away from notorious Edinburgh city centre traffic.

Dear HeanorPaul,

Thank you for taking the time to review your recent stay with us at Premier Inn Edinburgh Park (The Gyle).

I am pleased to hear you enjoyed your stay with us and especially enjoyed the food served in our Thyme restaurant. The team work hard each day to deliver great quality service and food to our guests so it is fantastic to know you had a pleasant experience.

SatNavs and TomToms do struggle to direct guests when using our postcode as we are still quite a new hotel, so for your next stay I would recommend using the postcode EH12 9HA as this should direct you easily to the top of street. Alternatively you could set your TomTom to direct you to the Gyle Shopping Centre (postcode EH12 9JY) which is a short 5 minute drive from us, and is located at the top of the business park that we are situated in.

Despite the navigation issues, once you are here we are excellently located for transport links to and from Edinburgh and also Livingston as you have mentioned. Being out of the city centre also means we experience minimal noise disruption from traffic which helps our guests get a great nights sleep.

Thank you again for your review and we hope to welcome you back for a third time in the near future.

Yours Sincerely,

William Crow

There were six young children in our party, and the staff were all so friendly and engaging with them, especially in the restaurant, that it made our stay much easier. The location was so handy for the trams into town, which were so easy and cheap for a family day ticket.
