This is a lovely B&B. Spotless, friendly, good beds, quiet, good breakfast with range of options. Perfect after a very long flight. We stayed for 4 days total.

We stayed in the family room which was perfect for our family of 3. Lots of room - very confortable. The bathroom is small but nice and spotless. Mother stayed in the first floor double and it was nice.

We were traveling with our mother who required some special services and Ian was very kind about it. He also helped us in advance with some reservations and delivery of train tickets. The kind of speciallized service that you can not get at most large (even expensive) hotels. Althought this B&B is more expensive than most, it is not the same category. It is worth every penny.

Very easy access to downtown on the bus or an easy walk. Loved being so close, but not in the middle of town.

The kind of hotel that when you leave, you thank them for all their many kindnesses.

This was our 4th stay at Kew House. The B&B is really comfortable and the hosts, Ian and Alan, are really helpful. The breakfasts are very good, whether you chose the fry ups or the more healthy opition. This year we stay at one of the apartments, again very comfortable and spacious. Breakfast was supplied every morning, fresh juice, milk and bread everyday. Kew House is ideally situated about 15 minutes into Edinburgh, far enough away to get a good nights sleep without the noise of a capital city and yet close enough to all the sights. It is also situated on a very good bus route, so those who don't want to walk don't have to, although it would be a pity to miss a walk that gives you a feel for the city. It is now has a stop for the airline bus, which runs every 10 minutes. We will be returning to Kew House again for next years Fringe and will choose to stay here rather then a big chain hotel. Thanks Ian and Alan.

We stayed at Kew House and had a lovely stay. The room we had was a family room and was very spacious with excellent attention to detail. The room was just immaculate. So clean, tidy and fresh with lovely decor. The breakfast was fantastic and even my little boy who does not normally eat a cooked breakfast had some! The staff were so friendly and helpful. We would highly recommend staying there and will definately come back. The location is so close to the main shopping area just a 15 minute walk but so peaceful and relaxed. Wonderful. What are you waiting for - book!!

The Kew House is a wonderful place to stay if you are going to be in Edinburgh. Don't even think of staying anywhere else. The rooms are clean, well-appointed and roomy. The morning breakfast will over-satifsy you and as will the conversations with Ian. Allen and Ian are great people and this was one of the best parts of our trip to Scotland. Please, don't stay anywhere else; you will be missing out!

Fabulous accommodation, ideal location, excellent hosts.
We stayed in an apartment and didn't want to leave - so relaxing!
