Stayed here on Saturday night as part of organised Coach Trip with members of my family. First impression, reception organised for the arrival of our Group. Quickly given room cards and shown way by staff member. Room 117, small twin, no view but only on over night stay so not a problem. Meal included, three course and coffee served quickly and effeciently by staff. As we were on Theatre Trip only had short time in bar when we returned. Some of furniture in bar is in need of replacement. Bar itself well stocked but bar surface was very sticky and staff found it difficult to understand my rorder due to language barrier.
Breakfast varied and good choice but plates for cooked breakfast were cold. When queuing for hot food staff had difficulty getting through queue to get to kitchen.
Nice hotel within easy reach of Central Edinburgh with own parking and I would stay there again if in the area.
