I'm not sure I can add much more to the praises heaped deservedly on this fantastic B&B in Edinburgh, but I will give it a try. As I never book any accommodation at home or abroad without avidly reading everything which appears on Tripadvisor, I feel I ought to add my own comments for future readers!
The welcome was very friendly without being overbearing and I was given good information and maps about the sites and attractions of Edinburgh. By the way, the bus service is excellent and cheap and you just have to walk a short distance to the end of the road to pick up a bus to Princes Street and beyond. I spent a fascinating morning visiting the Royal Brittania which was only £1 trip on the bus.
The bedroom was beautiful, quite luxurious without being ostentacious and I particularly liked the fridge and the complimentary soft drinks within.
The other big bonus was the free use of broadband. As I was on business I, could sit up in bed and work on my emails!
The breakfast cooked by Nici was delicious. I particularly enjoyed the melon with fresh raspberries, followed by scrambled eggs and smoked salmon on a toasted bagel. Yum Yum!
This is a definite place to stay whenever I am in Edinburgh in the future. I can't wait to book again! Many thanks for a lovely stay.
