A quite delightful experience! Robin and Nicci were wonderful hosts with great attention to detail reflected in our spacious and comfortable accomodation and in the wonderful breakfasts!! Why would one ever stay in a hotel in Edinburgh?!

This was my first stay at a B & B and I was highly impressed. The rooms are cozy and Robin and Nici make sure that you have everything you need. The location is also convenient-- close to a lovely park and in walking distance to all of the attractions. From my initial on-line booking to check-out, I had a wonderful experience.

My husband and I stayed at Elmview for two nights at the end of a two-week UK trip. We we ready for a little pampering at that point, and we certainly got it at Elmview. Robin and Nici were very welcoming and friendly, and they had thought of everything -- maps, restaurant recommendations, even a curling iron! :) The food was delicious and creative, and we very much enjoyed the "family style" seating at breakfast and being encouraged to chat with our fellow guests. We'd definitely recommend Elmview to anyone visiting Edinburgh and would love to stay again if our paths cross in the future.

The other reviews and the Travellers Choice Award say it all. Impeccably maintained, very friendly owners, wonderful breakfasts. Just a pleasant 15 min walk into the Old Town. Very highly recommended, we hope to return.

The Elmview was amazing. Delicious haggis and vegetarian haggis!
