From the moment you step in, you feel welcome which is really good if you are in a town you know nothing about. Robin was a chasm of information and the b&b is just walk away from some fabolous resturants and sights. If you are thinking of going to Edinburugh, my advise is to stay there!!!! Book early!!!!

We arrived at the Elmview after an overnight trip and a connecting flight delay. We pulled up in the taxi and found our host waiting to welcome us. The room was beautiful with many extras such as fresh flowers, food in the refrigerator and a towel warmer. We were in heaven. Robin then presented us with a wonderful little snack to start our day. We loved our morning breakfasts. Each day Nici presented a feast only found in a first class hotel. The best part was chatting with both of them each morning about Scotland. We learned so much!

The hospitality and accommodations well exceeded our expectations. We can't think that there could be a nicer place to stay in Scotland and can state that it helped make our trip to Edinburgh a memorable one.

We congratulate Robin and Nici for providing first class lodging with a personel touch of class.

What a wonderful B&B! The room we stayed in was large and spacious and the ebds were very comfy! The location was excellent - 10-15 min stroll into the city centre past some lovely (& funky) bars and cafes. Both Robin and Nici are very pleasant hosts - Robin for example was very friendly and extremely helpful in finding us somewhere to eat when we arrived late on a Friday night. Nici is also very friendlt and helpful. She is also a fantastic cook - her breakfasts are awesome! Highly recommended!

You will struggle to find better B&B accommodation in Edinburgh - we will definitely be back.

If your looking for a quality place to stay in Edinburgh, look no further than Elmview. It offers a great location (pleasant 15mins walk to Princes St), very homely and well equipped bedrooms, free parking (which its hard to find), and most imprtantly top notch breakfasts!
There are cheaper places to stay in Edinburgh, but I'm glad I spent the few extra quid in staying here, its without doubt worth every penny!
