A glowing example of how a B&B should be run.

Everything was perfect and nothing had been forgotten.

Breakfast was one of the best I've ever had in any hotel / B&B - Eggs benedict special was the best I'd ever had.

If you are staying in Edinburgh - they try to stay in this B&B, you will not regret it !

Warm and welcoming, excellent accommodation and Breakfast, made to feel at home by Nici and Robin.
Much thought has gone into this accommodation with lots of extra touches as well as every necessity provided.
From welcoming sherry to flowers and nibbles, to exceptional cleanliness.
I would certainly recommend (and have already done so) this accommodation to family and friends and if we visit Edinburgh again we will certainly stay - vacancies permitting.

We spent 3 days in Edinburgh, and we searched Trip Advisor for the best place to go to. Elmview was one of the first B&Bs suggested, so we decided to try it. Maybe the place was quite expensive, but absolutely worth the many services, the wonderful food experience, and the fantastic hospitality we received.
Our room was full of comforts, and our guests were wonderful. We spent a very nice time, though the weather was quite awful. Overall, I would suggest Elmview to everybody, if you have the right budget.

We visited Scotland to spend some time with our daughter who
was attending the University of Edinburgh in a junior year abroad
program. After reading the positive tripadvisor reviews we booked directly with Robin and Nicci. Despite the good reviews you never
know what to expect however we could not have chosen a better
location, hosts or property. Everything was so beyond our expectations that we would rave about this B&B to everyone.
FIrst the locations was directly across the Meadows from my
daughter's dorm at the University, quiet and within easy walking
distance of all the city's attractions. The room was large with
a large modern bathroom, a small frig stocked with water and
other thoughtul amenities including sherry and shortbread.
The breakfasts were among the best we have ever and included
greek yogurt, homemade muffins, scones, fresh fruit , porridge,
and specialties like eggs benedict and bubble and squeak.
The breakfast were served in a gracious dining room with an
elegant table setting.
Robin has a dry sense of humor and is a wonderful resource
on Scottish history and travel. Nicci is a talented cook. They
both went the extra mile to make sure our stay was special.

We can't say enough about them and Elmview. We would go
back in a heartbeat!
