This was by far the best B&B experience that I've ever had. The location was perfect, within walking distance (or a short bus ride) of everything Edinburgh, yet on a nice quiet street in an amazingly green area. Robyn and Nici were the perfect hosts, charming, funny, and helpful.

The room itself was very large, very comfortable and very quiet. The pictures that I've seen on a number of websites of the rooms do not do them justice.

If I had to do it all over again, I would stay at Elmview.

What a wonderful B&B! Our room was fabulous - very large & wonderfully decorated & complete with dressing area, the bathroom was luxurious with all sorts of lovely touches, every last detail had been carefully thought of. The breakfasts were "to die for"! Would highly recommend a visit. Thank you Nici & Robin.

Quality accommodation - first class friendly service
Nici creates an interesting variety of substantial and tasty
breakfast choices presented and served with style by Robin
( a significant source of information and wit )
Thanks to our hosts our Edinburgh visit was even more enjoyable . Our best B&B yet , by far !

“a wee bit of paradise in Edinghburgh”

We loved our accomadation at the Elmview B&B in Edinburgh.
It is located in a residencial area by a park. Perfect location for visiting a student at the University of Edinbugh.
The room was large, clean and homey with an equally large bathroom. The breakfasts were wonderful and we enjoyed speaking with the other travelers. The owners were helpful with sightseeing and car rental ( we used Condor for two days of rentals and were also very happy with their service).
The B&B also provides movies for our room TV, we watched Braveheart to catch up on our knowlege of Scotland's history.
We enjoyed this beautiful city and the lovely Elmview.

“An excellent choise”

My son and I stayed 2 nights at Elmview. When we arrived Robin the owner welcomed us and show us the room. The room was very tidy and spacious and contained everything you need - from shampoo till cherry liquer and 2 bottles of mineral water. In the room was an notebook with detailed information like transportation, restaurants nearby, attraction at town etc.
Breakfast was very good with large variety. The place is located about 15 minutes of walking from the center.
Robin and his wife Nici is a very nice couple that do their best to give their visitors a great time.
We highly recommend this B&B.
