If this doesn't give you a lump in your throat, you haven't got a heart! An amazing place and a brilliant tribute to the fallen.

“Not really interested by the subject”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed November 20, 2012

Well, you will have to really like the subject to have the attention needed to follow this exposition. I was not, my friend niether. But, surprise, at the end, there is a section a really interesting section on amputees (way more interesting than looking at medals of war...)

“Super museum”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 12, 2012

When in Edinburgh Castle take time out to see this super museum which is well displayed and grouped in various themes. There was an exhibition at the end about how service personnel cope with disability but I assume this is a temporary exhibition.

Well presnted, with a range of information to support the displays, all set in context. Everything a good museum should be.
